Bush and the African Fashion Industry

30 January 2008 126 views One Comment

There are many who feel George Bush has done more to positively affect the lives of Africans on the continent than any other American President in history.  While I would like to see some examples to support that thought, LadyBrille, a blogger who focuses on the African fashion industry, has a great post regarding the African Growth and Opportunities Act, a piece of legislation enacted by the Bush Administration. She goes into what exactly the AGOA is and how it affects Africans and non-Africans alike. For all the young business moguls out there, looking to do business/trade with or within African nations, this is a must read. For the full story, click here.

You don’t have to love someone to do nice ACTS. I can’t judge him, but what does every politician do? “stuff that makes them look good” for Bush, this is a first.
