Opinion: Zuma Survives No-Confidence...Great.
Hmm...I should take a more hardline approach to this and speak about the politics but my first reaction to the story about South Africa's President, Jacob Zuma, overcoming the no-confidence vote, called by the opposition on account of him having a child out of wedlock was: "Really? That's what you called a no-confidence vote for?" On one hand, it's refreshing to know that there are people out there actually outraged about it...and rightly so! People charged with running countries should probably spend more time doing so, than sleeping with, impregnating and marrying multiple women (IMHO). But on the other hand, I'm sort of numb to this "politician/big man, extra marital affairs, poor child brought into the world," thing. From Bill and Monica to John Edwards and his boo, really...the whole situation is getting quite old.
(sidenote: I have to say though - that if President Obama ever cheated on The First Lady...I think I might die. Straight up fall on the floor and die.)
Which brings me to my question: How do you feel about the affairs and publicized sexual activities of your politicians/leaders? Does it bother you or are you numb to it? Drop your reactions in the comments section below.
