Should Jesse Jackson Go Sit Down?

The American media is definitely guilty of taking different news stories (or ignoring some) and blowing things out of proportion.  Oftentimes, it picks and chooses what it feels will be the most controversial and consequently what will get the most viewers.  But in the most recent episode of media-induced controversy, is the media to blame or did Jesse Jackson just go too far? The other day, on Fox New's The O'Reily Factor, Jesse Jackson was "caught" saying some pretty vulgar things about Senator and Democratic Presidential Hopeful, Barack Obama.

As you can see from the video, Rev. Jackson talked about wanting to castrate Senator Obama and implied that the reason why was because He felt the senator talked down to black people.

Some are arguing that the whole episode was taken out of context, some feel that Jackson was right.  Personally, I don't think it was an accident that Fox "caught" the Rev.  They probably left the mic on just to listen in on private conversation.  Even so, Jackson shouldn't have made that type of comment outside of home, especially with equipment around!  You can't control what a person says, but the person can control who hears it.
